Following a university-wide evaluation, the School of Physical Science and Technology has been awarded the title of "Outstanding Retiree Affairs Unit" for the 2023-2025 period. Additionally, faculty member Yu Lu was recognized as an "Advanced Individual in Retiree Affairs," Guo Kaihui received the "Star of Active Aging" award, and Wang Jiaqiang was honored as the "Star of Public Service in Later Years."
For many years, under the guidance and support of the university leadership and the Office of Retired Affairs, the School Party Committee has thoroughly implemented national policies on retiree services. By aligning with the university’s core missions and development priorities, the School has tailored its efforts to local conditions, dedicating care and attention to ensuring the well-being of retired faculty and staff. These initiatives have tangibly enhanced retirees' sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security.
