The Physics Department held its First Lesson of the Semester on March 9th, 2023 from 2:30 to 3:30 pm in conference room X30334 for the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year. First, the deputy secretary of the college party committee and vice president, Guo Jian, led the teachers in learning and discussing the First Lesson of the Semester. At the beginning of the new semester, all teaching work is progressing smoothly. Faced with the full resumption of offline teaching, teachers should consider students' previous online learning experiences while doing their teaching work. Due to the partial loss of collective learning and campus life, students' mastery of knowledge and spiritual growth have been affected to varying degrees. Teachers should provide more guidance during the teaching process. This is also what everyone recognized in the First Lesson of the Semester and related examples. Campus life is essential for the personality development and ability enhancement of university students, and teachers should fully play their role as guides.
Subsequently, the department's deputy directors introduced teaching and research related matters. Deputy Director Xie Dong mobilized and arranged the Teaching Competition for teachers this semester, encouraging interested teachers to actively sign up and prepare early. He also hoped that senior teachers would not hesitate to teach and guide young teachers to help them grow faster. Deputy Director Shen Junfeng arranged teaching seminars and other related work for teachers.
Finally, under the leadership of Deputy Secretary Guo Jian, the entire department carried out the recommendation work of middle-level leaders in the college.
