On the afternoon of March 30th, 2023, the Party branch of the Applied Physics Department of the School of Physical Science and Technology at Southwest Jiaotong University organized a party member democratic evaluation during an organizational meeting for all party members at Xipu Campus, Room 30327. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Liu Qijun.
To ensure the quality of the organizational meeting and democratic evaluation, the Party branch of the Applied Physics Department held a pre-meeting to prepare for the meeting. During the meeting, Dr. Liu Qijun, on behalf of the branch committee, first reported on the work and achievements of the party branch over the past year. Then, the party members reviewed the party member conditions and obligations and compared them to their own performance in their roles, evaluating how they have contributed to their communities and identifying any gaps. Next, the party members conducted self-evaluations and mutual evaluations, strengthening their party consciousness through criticism and self-criticism, and achieving the goal of improvement and unity. The meeting also included a democratic evaluation vote.
Finally, Dr. Jia Huanyu made a speech and commented on the work of the Party branch. The comrades expressed their willingness to continue contributing to the development of the school's undertakings and to work towards the center of the school's work. This meeting laid a solid ideological foundation for the comrades to liberate their thoughts and do practical work.
