General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: "All achievements and happiness in the world come from labor and creation." In order to better guide the majority of faculty and students to engage in labor practice and further establish the concept that labor is the most glorious, noble, great, and beautiful, the School of Physical science and Technology has long attached great importance to labor education. On the eve of the International Labor Day on May 1st, on the afternoon of April 28th, Guo Jian, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Physical science and Technology, led the student work group of the college and all teachers to "Happy Farm" to experience the difficulty of labor.

Pepper seedlings, cucumber seedlings, winter melon seedlings... all kinds of crops were neatly placed in the fields of the School of Physics. Teachers and students worked together with clear division of labor. Some were responsible for digging pits, some were responsible for planting seedlings, some were responsible for cultivating soil, and some were responsible for watering... The atmosphere on the scene was warm, and the planting work was orderly.

Although it started to rain lightly, the teachers and students were not afraid of the cold rain. They put on simple raincoats and continued to work in the fields. They squatted, knelt, and stood for a long time, occasionally straightening up to refresh their spirits and continue to engage in labor. Drops of water flowed down from the faces of teachers and students, and it was unclear whether it was rain or sweat, but they all became the source of irrigation and created happiness with their own hands.

After a whole afternoon of labor, the seedlings in the "Happy Farm" area of the School of Physics stood neatly and were full of vitality. Labor creates value, and labor creates happiness. It is believed that in the future study, work and life, the faculty and students of the School of Physics will continue to carry forward the spirit of labor and create a more brilliant tomorrow with their own hands!
