On the afternoon of May 4th, 2023, the Party Branch of Electronic Information Science and Technology of the School of Physical Science and Technology organized a party member meeting for the entire department in room X30326 at the Xipu campus. The meeting was chaired by the branch secretary, Li Jinlong, and the main topics included: (1) learning about confidentiality knowledge; (2) conveying the spirit of the mobilization meeting on studying and implementing Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics theme education by the school and the college; and (3) recommending candidates for the "outstanding Party members" award.
Firstly, through video materials, typical cases of leaks and online fraud in the university community were studied, and the importance of national security and the need to establish national security awareness and a solid sense of confidentiality were emphasized. It was pointed out that it is the basic obligation of every citizen to consciously care for and safeguard national security. Secondly, the spirit of the mobilization meeting on studying and implementing Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics theme education by the university and the school was conveyed, and the significant meaning, goal requirements, key measures, and deployment arrangements of the theme education were explained. The Party branch was urged to take a high position and a high starting point to promote various arrangements, deeply comprehend the theoretical essence, apply knowledge to practice, and gain insights into the ideological power and the power of unity in the theme education. Finally, based on the specific content and requirements of the school and the college's "outstanding Party members" award program, the meeting discussed and recommended candidates for the award.
