On the afternoon of May 16th, 2023, the leadership team of the School of Physical Science and Technology at the university held the first concentrated theoretical learning session for the theme education reading group on implementing Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era in conference room 30345 of the Xipu campus. They earnestly read the original works, studied the original texts, and understood the principles. All members of the leadership team participated in the learning and discussion, which was presided over by the school's party committee secretary, Liu Yu, and led by the party committee deputy secretary and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Wei Zhenxing. During the reading group, Wei Zhenxing led the study of "On the Party's Self-Revolution." The study focused on understanding the profound connotation of the Party's self-revolution, the need for the Party to continue its self-revolution in the new era, and the long way to go for the Party's self-revolution.
After the learning session, the leadership team discussed and studied extensively around the pain points and difficulties faced by the school, how to enhance their ability to work and innovate, and how to further deepen the comprehensive reform of the school and promote the high-quality development of the school.
