On the morning of December 5, the Party Committee of the School of Physical Science and Technology and the Party Committee of the Psychological Research and Counseling Center jointly hosted a symposium themed "Learning the Spirit of the National Education Conference and Contributing to the Construction of a Strong Educational Nation." Representatives from various democratic parties, non-party individuals, committee members, and faculty party branch secretaries participated in the event. The symposium was chaired by Li Zhuohui, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Physical Science and Technology.
During the meeting, Liu Yongmei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Psychological Research and Counseling Center, led the study of the spirit of the National Education Conference and interpreted the article published by the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Education in the People's Daily, titled "Striving to Write a New Chapter in the Construction of a Strong Educational Nation in the New Era." She encouraged everyone to take on the responsibilities of the times and contribute to the acceleration of building a strong educational nation through practical actions.
Liu Siming, Vice Chairman of the University's Overseas Chinese Federation and a member of the Jiusan Society, Tang Yongliang, a member of the Jiusan Society and Deputy Director of the Cooperative Development Office, Li Xinghan, a non-party individual and Deputy Director of the Library, and Cai Xueli, a member of the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment of Hong Kong, shared their insights and experiences regarding the spirit of the National Education Conference in relation to their teaching, research, talent cultivation, social service, and united front work. They expressed their commitment to continuously learning from the spirit of the National Education Conference and contributing their wisdom and strength to the development of the School.
Secretary Li Zhuohui thanked all democratic party members, non-party individuals, and non-party intellectuals for their positive contributions to the construction and development of the School. He encouraged everyone to continue leveraging the advantages of non-party intellectuals, working together to contribute to the high-quality development of the institution and the construction of a strong educational nation.
