On September 23, the public announcement of the selected winners for Southwest Jiaotong University's 2020-2024 Teaching Achievement Awards was concluded. The School has been awarded four first prizes (three for undergraduate and one for postgraduate education) and five second prizes (four for undergraduate and one for postgraduate education) as the leading unit, in addition to participating in one special prize-winning project. The awarded initiatives span areas such as top-tier talent cultivation in basic disciplines, professional curriculum reform, and the teaching of university physics theory and experiments. These achievements systematically reflect the School’s recent series of landmark outcomes, driven by the philosophy of “student-centered, output-oriented, and continuous improvement,” dedicating to the revolution in classroom teaching and strengthening the feedback of scientific research into teaching. The School will take this opportunity to further deepen teaching reforms and continuously improve teaching quality and talent cultivation standards.
