On November 1, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education issued the "Notice on Publishing the List of Sichuan Provincial Bases for Top Talents in Basic Disciplines 2024" (Chuanjiao Han [2024] No. 505). Following applications from universities and expert evaluations, 10 projects were selected for establishment as 2024 Sichuan Provincial Bases for Top Talents in Basic Disciplines. The "Physics Top Talent Cultivation Base" project of the School of Physical Science and Technology was successfully included in the list.
