The Party branch of Electronic Information Science and Technology in the School of Physical Science and Technology organized a political theory learning activity for all teachers in the department at X30326 in Xipu Campus on April 6th, 2023 at 2:30 pm. The main content of this learning session includes: (1) the speech by Comrade Xi Jinping at the First Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, (2) the communiqué of the Second Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, and (3) the spirit of the theme education work conference on studying and implementing Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
In the speech at the First Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, Comrade Xi Jinping pointed out that the 20th CPC National Congress was a very important meeting held at a critical moment when the entire party, the entire country, and all ethnic groups embarked on a new journey of building a socialist modern country and advancing towards the second centenary goal. It pointed out the direction and established the action guidelines for the development of the party and state undertakings in the new era and the realization of the second centenary goal.
At the Second Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, Comrade Xi Jinping delivered an important speech. The plenary session called on the entire party and the people of all ethnic groups in the country to unite more closely around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, carry forward the great spirit of building the party, remember the “three musts” be self-confident and self-reliant, be upright and innovative, be enterprising and tenacious, and solidly promote China's modernization with Chinese characteristics, and work together to achieve the goals set at the 20th CPC National Congress.
The theme education work conference on studying and implementing Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics was recently held in Beijing. General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, from the strategic height of the overall development of the party and state undertakings in the new era and the new journey, elaborated on the significance and target requirements of carrying out theme education, made a comprehensive deployment of various works of theme education, provided fundamental guidance for the whole party to carry out theme education, and is a Marxist programmatic document that should be studied and understood seriously and implemented well.
