On the afternoon of May 18th, 2023, the party branch of administrative staff of the School of Physical Science and Technology conducted a political theoretical study on "Learning and Implementing Xi Jinping's New Era of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" with the theme of "putting people at the center" in room X30345 of the Xipu campus. The meeting was presided over by the branch secretary, Comrade Chen Xi, and attended by all party members of the administrative staff.
Firstly, the branch secretary, Chen Xi, led the study of the important discourse on "putting people at the center" in Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics. She emphasized from four dimensions that the people are the creators of history, our goal is to make all Chinese people live a better life, the people are the greatest confidence of our party in governance, and always put the people in the highest position in our hearts, achieving selflessness and not letting the people down.
After the study, the party members present discussed their understanding and experience of the learning content in combination with their own work. Chen Xi suggested that the administrative staff should focus on "serving teachers and students as the center," attach importance to their needs in their thinking, improve their quality in their actions, think more, and improve their position. Secretary Liu Yu requested all administrative staff, as the window of the school's management and service, to unify their thinking with teachers and students, guide them in their thinking and actions, improve the efficiency of management and service in their positions, and promote the development of all aspects of the school's work through comprehensive reform. The party members present expressed that as administrative staff, they should take "putting people at the center" as their service purpose, learn and apply it, deepen their understanding, and better serve teachers and students.
